By accessing or using Zesume.in, our websites, APIs, mobile or desktop applications, and our browser extension (including Zesume Clipper), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms and conditions, you must not access or use any of our services.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Zesume.in. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization or entity, you represent and warrant that you have full authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

You may sign in using supported authentication providers (such as Google OAuth). You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately at ekanshrajput1607@gmail.com if you detect any unauthorized use or security breach related to your account.

The Zesume Clipper browser extension operates locally within your web browser as a user-assisted productivity tool. It enables you to clip job descriptions, generate tailored resume drafts, and automate form-filling on supported third-party job boards.

The extension acts strictly as your client-side agent and proxy, executing actions solely through your own browser session and under your active authentication on third-party sites. We do not store or transmit your third-party portal passwords or private session tokens to our servers.

You maintain sole legal responsibility for all submitted applications. While Zesume.in uses advanced artificial intelligence to parse job listings and suggest or pre-fill application answers, AI is not infallible. Third-party job boards present non-standardized questions, custom dropdowns, compliance declarations, and dynamic forms that AI models may misinterpret or fail to populate.

Your affirmative obligations:

• You must carefully review, inspect, and verify all pre-filled answers, personal information, employment histories, and uploaded resumes before any application is finalized or submitted.
• If any required or optional field cannot be completed automatically by the AI or extension, you are solely responsible for filling that field manually.
• You must ensure that all representations made in your job applications—including work authorization, visa status, criminal history disclosures, certifications, contact details, and salary expectations—are 100% truthful, complete, and accurate.

Zesume.in explicitly disclaims any and all liability for incomplete, inaccurate, false, omitted, or misrouted job applications or form submissions.

Zesume.in and Zesume Clipper are independent software tools. Zesume.in is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with LinkedIn Corporation, Wellfound (AngelList), Indeed, Naukri (Info Edge), Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. All third-party company names, service marks, and trademarks belong to their respective holders.

Third-party websites maintain their own Terms of Service, anti-bot policies, page layouts, and rate limits. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of our assistive extension complies with the terms and conditions of any third-party platform you access.

Zesume.in shall not be liable for any consequences arising from your interactions with third-party sites, including but not limited to: account warnings, rate-limiting, CAPTCHA challenges, temporary or permanent account restrictions or bans, or application rejections imposed by external platforms.

Third-party job boards constantly update their code, user interfaces, DOM structures, and form validations. Consequently, automated selectors in the extension may temporarily break or become outdated without notice.

While our team actively monitors and updates selectors, we make no representation that the extension will function continuously or without disruption on any third-party website.

If you encounter a job form that fails to fill or causes an automation error, you agree to assist in troubleshooting by submitting relevant bug reports, screenshots, and diagnostic error logs to ekanshrajput1607@gmail.com so our engineering team can investigate and deploy selector updates.

Zesume.in provides resume tailoring and application assistance tools. We do not guarantee or warrant that using our services will result in:

• Any job interviews, recruiter responses, callbacks, or employment offers;
• Passing any automated applicant tracking system (ATS) filters, screening tests, or employer rankings;
• Any specific hiring or employment outcome whatsoever.

All hiring decisions rest entirely with prospective employers.

You retain all intellectual property rights in the personal content, resumes, employment history, and cover letters that you create or upload. You grant Zesume.in a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to process, parse, format, and display your content solely to deliver the features you request (such as resume tailoring, PDF export, ATS scoring, and form autofill).

All intellectual property rights in the Zesume.in platform, user interfaces, design systems, algorithms, extensions, code, and documentation remain the exclusive property of Zesume.in and its licensors.

Certain features (including advanced AI tailoring and auto-apply runs) require usage credits. New accounts receive a complimentary credit grant. Additional credit packs may be purchased through our supported payment gateways.

Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active. Because AI model calls incur immediate third-party computational costs, all credit purchases are strictly non-refundable once credits have been used, consumed, or partially depleted, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.

You agree not to misuse Zesume.in or the Zesume Clipper extension. Specifically, you agree that you will not:

• Submit fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, or unlawful application details or misrepresent your qualifications or identity;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of our proprietary backend or AI algorithms;
• Overload, spam, or perform denial-of-service attacks against our infrastructure or third-party platforms;
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute our services or API access to third parties without prior written authorization.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE, APPLICATION, BROWSER EXTENSION, AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ACCURATE, OR ERROR-FREE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ZESUME.IN, ITS FOUNDERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, REPUTATIONAL DAMAGE, THIRD-PARTY ACCOUNT RESTRICTIONS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES.

IN ALL CASES, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF ZESUME.IN ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO ZESUME.IN IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY UNITED STATES DOLLARS ($50.00 USD) OR ONE THOUSAND INDIAN RUPEES (INR 1,000).

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Zesume.in, its creators, affiliates, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of or access to the service or browser extension; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including third-party platform terms or policies; (d) any application or content submitted to an employer; or (e) any dispute between you and an employer or third-party service provider.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features, update pricing, or alter these Terms at our sole discretion. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the service following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
